thyssenkrupp begins operating new warehouse in Poland
thyssenkrupp continues to expand its local presence in Eastern Europe. thyssenkrupp Energostal, a subsidiary of Business Area Materials Services, has now opened a new storage facility in Nowe Marzy with the aim of additionally growing its customer service. The new facility provides around 17,500 square meters of storage space where the materials experts can offer their entire range, including rolled steel, non-ferrous metals and stainless steel. Overall, some 13,000 tonnes of material for the processing industry will be stored in Nowe Marzy.
“The new warehouse is a further step towards strengthening our presence in Poland and meeting the growing needs and requirements of our customers,” explains Ryszard Bojarski, President of the Board of thyssenkrupp Energostal. After Błonie, Dąbrowa Górnicza, and Poznań, Nowe Marzy is now thyssenkrupp’s fourth central warehouse in Poland. Apart from that, the company operates 16 sales offices located in practically every part of the country. “The fact that we are continuing to expand our capacities and bolster our local business clearly shows how important Poland is for us as a business location,” says Martin Stillger, CEO Operating Unit Eastern Europe.
